Overview:
We are looking to hire an EXPERIENCED receptionist for our fast paced, upscale salon. The position will be part time to begin - with the opportunity to log more hours later on. Applicant MUST be professional, friendly and punctual. They need to be able to speak english fluently, answer phones effeciently, and be able to use scheduling software to assist our staff of professional stylists, estheticians, and nail technicians. Must be competent with administering and completing point of sale transactions, and be able to follow a checklist for daily opening and closing procedures. There will be a short training period to begin with. If hired, applicant will be needed immediately for shifts on either Saturdays, Mondays, and or Tuesdays, with an opportunity to log still more hours as you gain experience.

Regular duties include:

Warmly greeting clients, walking them to the proper beauty station.
Alerting assigned stylist of their arrival.
Booking and confirming appointments.
Processing payments.
Outstanding customer Service.

Experience:

Previous office experience or clerical experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities.
English is necessary, but bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse client needs.
Experience with multi-line phone systems and data entry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of hair or nail salon receptionist duties, including calendar management and personal assistant tasks, is advantageous.
Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
